You're ready to promote your company. You know the ins and outs of your business, but you don't know the media. So what should your next move be? Cell phones were created with the purpose of facilitating
communication on the go. With the advancement of technology,
cell phones matured into devices that are able to send text
messages, surf the internet and even play games. Today, cell
phones are one of the most important items an individual could
own. We bring our cell phones with us everywhere, and they have
essentially become an extension of our own self and a way to
express our own unique individuality.
Think about it. Your friends most ...

Anyone who has ever read a book on sales or taken a sales course
has heard it - on average it takes anywhere from 3 to 10
contacts before a sale is reached. Although sales and publicity
are very different animals, the same rule of thumb applies when
pitching your release/story idea to the media. Because of the
Internet and email, media outlets today are bombarded with
hundreds if not thousands of media pitches each week. So, it's
more important than ever that to make sure your release ...

Almost every day, I hear the same question, over and over, from
motivated, well-meaning financial planners who want to use
publicity in their marketing mix. It goes something like this:
'Who do you know in the media? (Or, sometimes they frame it as,
'Who do I need to know in the media?') Can you get me publicity?'

half the game. And it's the easier half.
Because here's what you get with who you know in the media:
It gets them to ...

files, and you notice that you've left your fingerprints all
over your operating system. You would think that media files

also made note of what videos that you have watched. (This is
similar for most players; however, Windows Media Player is the
most common so I will only provide an example for ...

Windows Media Player 10 has been full of bugs from Microsoft
since they offered it as a download from their site. Windows
Media Player 9 was nice and simple. Windows Media Player 10 is
way too complex and feature-rich that it has taken away from the
simpleness of version 9 and ruined itself. Another great media
player is Winamp but we won't go into that right now.
If you have installed Windows Media Player 10, you can roll back
to the version of the Player that was on your computer ...
